Pixagogo is a user–friendly, web–based service where you can share your digital photos in high quality, and you decide who can view them. This service has various practical features including a free trial and is one of the top ten online photo albums on the web.
Pixagogo has six different languages so you can use the site in your native tongue. Choose from English, Netherlands, Français, Español, Português or Italiano.
With Pixagogo’s album layout tools, you can choose to display your photos using one of more than 10 templates. You can also add text and there are several other options available for customization.
There are three different ways you can add photos to your Pixagogo account: upload photos via the web, use the free Pixagogo Uploader or adopt albums from someone else. You’ll find the Adopt button under the “Extra” tab in any album.
Some of the practical features available through Pixagogo include a guestbook, where you can invite friends to a particular album, a bookmark system, so you can quickly find your favorite albums and you can make an album your homepage. This is ideal for grandparents to see there grandchildren grow up.
We downloaded the Pixagogo uploading software and had no problems. Our photos uploaded fine—all 15 of them in about 45 seconds. Sending an eCard is just as easy.
The site is well designed with one exception. When you upload your files they don’t upload directly to your album. You must manually add them to your album, which causes some confusion. The rest of the site is straightforward.
Pixagogo offers a contact form and a FAQs page within their site. The service also has popup windows that give details on various features.
Pixagogo is a little pricey for what the service entails and currently you can’t add videos. Overall, this picture sharing service makes it simple and fast to upload and share photos. You’ll enjoy the unlimited photo storage.
